How to soak black pig ginseng for hair

黑豬婆參 浸發方法
Soaking method
  1. Soak the dried pork ginseng in clean water and place it in the refrigerator for 2 days to allow the inside and outside of the pork ginseng to fully absorb moisture.
  2. After soaking, take out the sea cucumber, steam the sea cucumber in water for about two hours, take it out and place it at room temperature. After the sea cucumber returns to room temperature, put it in ice water (or place it in the refrigerator and soak it in ice water) and soak it for 2 days.
  3. After soaking the sea cucumber for two days, clean the sea cucumber intestines.
  4. After cleaning the sea cucumber intestines, steam the sea cucumbers in water for another hour, then take them out and place them at room temperature until the sea cucumbers are cooked. After the temperature returns to room temperature, put it in ice water (or place it in the refrigerator and soak it in ice water) and soak it for another 2 days.
  5. After 4-5 days, the sea cucumber is basically soaked.

PS: If you like a softer texture, you can repeat the above method.

Precautions for soaking hair

  1. The vessel for soaking sea cucumbers must be clean and oil-free, otherwise the sea cucumbers will be infected with bacteria, which will affect the soaking of sea cucumbers.
  2. When soaking sea cucumbers, they must be soaked in ice water or placed in the refrigerator, otherwise the sea cucumbers will be infected with bacteria, which will affect the soaking of sea cucumbers.
  3. Try to use steaming method instead of boiling in hot water. Because sea cucumbers and sea cucumbers will rub against each other in boiling water/boiling water bubbles will rub against the sea cucumber's skin, causing the sea cucumber's skin to wear out.
  4. The "sea cucumber tendons" inserted into the belly of sea cucumbers are rich in nutritional value and medicinal properties and can be used to make soup or be eaten directly.
