Daily production of Anxinghao seafood

安興號 海味生產日常 - On Hing Dry Seafood

Let me share with you the daily production routine at An Xing Hao! Whether it's fish maw, abalone, or pearl meat, the chefs work tirelessly every day after receiving the raw materials, ensuring they are processed and dried as quickly as possible.

The original purpose of drying was to slightly extend the shelf life of food . Because of the imperfect preservation methods of the past, fish were dried in the sun. Originally limited to fish, it later expanded to include a variety of seafood, resulting in today's "dried seafood " offerings : abalone, sea cucumber, shark's fin, and fish maw.
